Who we are
We are a team of professionals Lawyer, Accountants, Nurses, IT Professional and Business Owners who believe that every helping hand can raise a child and create a better future for them as well as the less fortunate adults.
This Community Center was formed to promote the interests of Haitians living in the Area of South Jersey. We are committed to provide resources to Haitian residents of South Jersey in all aspects, Health, Education, Financial/Economic and Legal.
Our goal is to support and uplift each other, restore pride in ourselves and our children and embrace our rich cultural heritage. L’union fait la force. Together we stand and divided we fall. We are Haitians, descendants of Dessalines, children of Toussaint L’ouverture. We are Haitians and we are proud.
MISSION: To Promote the quality of life of all, in particular Haitian South Jersey residents, and maintaining our cultural heritage. We endeavor to empower the Haitian community through education training, and leadership. Furthermore, we are committed to help the less fortunate in our community through any means possible, giving them access to available resources to meet their needs.
COMMITMENT: We committed to assist each other to better assimilate. We are to provide classes for newly arrived Haitian parents living
in community who desire to learn English and tutoring service to their children to enable them to achieve academic excellence. Most importantly, we shall help them to transition to higher education, college or graduate school.
CORE VALUES: Empower the youth to make sound decisions and choices Support the Haitian community and provide needed services such as: tutoring, sport training opportunities, dance and Creole/French, and spiritual guidance as needed. Motivate our youths to become productive citizens of the community
OBJECTIVE: Provide basic education, computer literacy, English as a second language (ESL), Haitian creole culture, and career orientation. Promote healthy living through sport activities, dance, food choices etc. Maintain a sense of community through social events (gala, parades, picnics, community outings etc. Explore personal interest, life goals, and potential career paths.
